The first picture I took in film that really made film photography so attractive was this photo, at an art exhibit at The Blanton Museum.
The cameras that first introduced me to film are the Holga Medium Format and Pentax K1000.
As a self taught photographer, film photography has been key to my education. It forces me to be in the moment and be attentive to the light, composition, and subject of my art. Film slows me down and requires me to be present with the camera.
